It takes a lot to perfect a good grilled cheese. It’s not as simple as grabbing some bread and slapping on a cheese slice. Every ingredient is as important as the one before it, the bread needs to be fluffy and grilled golden, the cheese stretchy and sharp, and the added flavours need to compliment for the perfect bite every time.

A traditional grilled cheese relies purely on cheese, none of these fancy fillings. We start with two slices of organic sourdough bread, hand-made in South Australia using certified spelt flour. Add a carefully crafted selection of cheese and a dash of Beerenberg’s best relish for the perfect Grill. Our cheeses are all made with non animal rennet and enzymes making our grills both vegetarian and halal friendly.

All melts start with two slices of our large wide tin bread. Every slice is filled with nature’s simplest ingredients and absolutely no artificial colours or flavours. We then add a base of our special house blended cheese and top with specialty fillings inspired by traditional sandwiches from around the world.
